In February 2017, Ridens Public Affairs (RPA) opened new offices in Jakarta, Indonesia, to build-up its international client base and assist those companies looking to invest and export their goods and services to the EU, as well as assisting those EU companies looking to enter the Indonesian market.

To celebrate our entrance into the Indonesian market, RPA organized a high-level stakeholderconference, in partnership with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and the Indonesia-Benelux Chamber, on the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) currently being negotiated by the EU and Indonesia.

The event featured speakers from Indonesian stakeholders and the Indonesian government, including Indonesia’s chief negotiator for the CEPA agreement, Mr. Iman Pambagyo, and RPA’s Executive Directive, Maurits Bruggink, on the topic of civil society and EU decision-making in the context of international trade negotiations. The event was chaired by the Indonesian-Benelux Chamber’s Executive Director, Peter Halm.
